Had a fabulous weekend.

After work on Friday a few of us went for a few drinks and Steve came along too. Everyone seemed to like him, and I met Helen and John’s respective other halves and both of them were lovely. Karen (John’s girlfriend) and I talked about films and TV for ages, boring everyone else i’m sure… but she was fab. Someone you feel like you’ve known for ages after only 5 minutes of meeting her. Shaun (Helen’s beau) was lovely… and he’s apparently said that me and Steve don’t seem gay at all… which kind of makes it obvious that he only stayed for 2 drinks… :)

Afterwards Steve and I went to Danielle’s and had a few drinks with her and Robbie, then headed home… and was in bed by half 11… I’ll be dribbling into my Complan before long.

Saturday morning Steve was out with the baby and Chris came round. We kind of did fuck all for a few hours then went to Sefton Park to see Rachel, her new fella, Andy, and Disney Steve. Played frisbee for a while and got sunburned on my face and arms.

Chris went about 4ish and then Robbie, Danielle and Terry came round ready for Alan’s barbecue.

We got there and I found out that Simon was coming. This news filled me with dread as I was told the last time he had been at one of our gatherings I had made a complete tit out of myself in front of him… First thing I asked him when he arrived was if he had been working out as his arms looked really defined… according to a few this was a bad thing to ask so I was even more self conscious for a while, but it turned out I needn’t have worried as we both chatted later on and had a great night (and if you’re reading this, your arms were fab… there I don’t care I said it!)

The night ended at 3 (was gutted we had to go as I was enjoying myself so much).

On Sunday me and Steve went to my mum’s for a few hours, then later on we went to Hannah’s bar in Liverpool to watch Tom from work singing… and he was brilliant. Was a lovely lovely end to a great weekend.
